Have been going here for years. Food is excellent and so is the service. Prices are reasonable too. Highly recommend.
Let's just say that the food makes up for the staff... the food is delicious, but the wait staff is not. If you want someone that understands and speak English well I don't recommend this place, but the food is authentic and the nachos are phenomenal. Also you can get Margaritas by the pitcher which is always a nice plus. I do recommend and I will return.
Staff is sub-par, but most importantly the food was just bland. I understand that it's out in the middle of nowhere in Texas, but it's like people who haven't a clue what Mexican food is are the ones cooking here. Save your money/time and eat at La Hacienda down the road.
Loved the carne guisada and rice, beans were okay, and our waiter was very attentive and accommodating. Diego Rivera outside was a bonus, plus they have a line of their own sauces and pecan pralines...
When traveling and need to eat, very good Mexican food. Have had meal several time, always good.
